Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Mahjong Pop at mahjongpop.app and any related services (the "Service"), operated by YF Apps, LLC ("YF Apps", "we", "us"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Who may use the Service

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum digital-consent age in your country) to use the Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. The Service

Mahjong Pop is a browser-based 3D mahjong game. Some features (such as the American ruleset, premium tile styles, the Master difficulty, and the Midnight Noir environment) require a Pro subscription.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service unlawfully or to infringe anyone's rights;
  • send spam, fraudulent, or malicious content;
  • attempt to probe, scan, or interfere with the security or integrity of the Service, or introduce malware;
  • scrape, crawl, or bulk-download the Service other than by publicly documented means (e.g. our robots.txt);
  • reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code, except where such restriction is prohibited by law;
  • resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service or any part of it.

5. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, tile art, environments, branding, and content, is owned by YF Apps or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial enjoyment (or, for Pro subscribers, within the scope of your subscription).

6. Payments, subscriptions, and taxes

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Pro subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis and renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel from the account panel in the app or via the receipt Paddle emails you. Payment terms, billing, tax, and cancellation mechanics are governed by Paddle's Checkout Buyer Terms.

7. Refunds

See our Refund Policy. In short, we offer a 30-day money-back guarantee, processed by Paddle.

8. Service availability and changes

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times. We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We will use reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes that adversely affect paid features.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay, create a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly or seriously violate our policies. You may stop using the Service at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, YF APPS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. NOTHING IN THESE TERMS LIMITS LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE LIMITED BY LAW (INCLUDING FOR FRAUD OR DEATH/PERSONAL INJURY CAUSED BY NEGLIGENCE).

12. Indemnity

You will indemnify and hold YF Apps harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party right.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, unless a mandatory consumer-protection law grants you the right to sue in your place of residence.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will highlight them on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
